Spring 2020 Tour Merch

Undoubtedly, the merch for this PJ Spring tour was ready to go.  Nine Inch Nails sent an email to their fans today, "announcing" they had a tour planned and some merch was developed.  They are selling it on their website (money going to local food banks for cities on that tour).  How would you like to see the PJ merch released?

Came here to mention NIN and I think that’s a solid idea.  Pearl Jam would do well to sell the merch and donate the profits.

I think they should save the designs, if anything sell mystery boxes to move the 2020 merch after the rescheduled dates.  Maybe release one design now.

Mr T Surt did post that we would be seeing the merch but no specifics.

PJ should do the same thing. Cover the costs and get money to organizations that need it.

I’d like the option to buy the poster for the show I was going to that was postponed and the ‘if’ they do another poster with the new date, have that one to go with the postponed show poster.

Most of it would be date sensitive though.   I feel bad enough when I toss a ticket stub into the collection that has the wrong date because the show was postponed.  Not sure how big I would be on buying merch to a show I went to that had the wrong date.

I'm sure they keep and use anything that was undated, but things like posters and tour tees would be hard to do.

Hopefully they hadn't finished making it all yet.  Could also be that more merch had been created for shows earlier in the tour than later, as it might of been a work in progress.

If Pearl Jam does release their 2020 Spring tour merchandise up @ the 10club store, they should give first crack to those who had 10club tickets to those specific shows first for a few day's, then make them available for all 10club members, just like how they did the 2009 tour where if you had a 10club ticket you could pre-order 2 posters from that show you had 10club tickets for.

I think non-date sensitive items should be shelved until the shows, date sensitive either sell some now individually, or mix in to a new mystery box.

they should have done that in Raleigh, 2016. donated $ to the cause.

So you want stuff with dates that didn’t happen now but won’t want stuff with incorrect dates when you actually attend a show?

I never understood why people want show specific merch from shows that don’t exist.

Tempo's holy grail of PJ socks:

Maybe toss a COVID CANCELED or something stamp on there somewhere and when this is all over its a bit unique.
  • Wilco had posters to the first five shows of their postponed tour already made up and ready to go....they sold those on line.  I (fortunately or unfortunately) was attending the 6th show--I didn't have to make the determination of whether I wanted a momento from a show that did not exist or not.
