Stunning.  Third time I've seen them and their biggest headline show yet.  Think they dropped 3x new songs during the set ('new' as in 'not on either of the  albums they released last year') and they all sounded like instant classics.

John Farnham in Wellington and the two Tool gigs in Auckland. From how things panned out with that guy going to the Friday gig with COVID I and many others at that gig dodged a massive bullet. From what our contact tracing says I can't see any links to further cases from that guy as a result of the Tool concert. Buggered if I know what the next one is-though STP rescheduled Aussie dates and FNM rescheduled NZ dates so hope they go ahead.

Yeah, next Feb is going to be jammed.  I have FNM and Steel Panther so far. I was at the 2nd Tool show, but my boss was in the general vicinity of COVID guy at the first show.  Yep, we sure dodged a bullet here, but perhaps we were also a bit more cautious than other nations, which seems to have paid off.

hometown show @ Tipitinas. Not many people at this show. I think at one point, the singer of EHG, Mike Willams, made a comment about how many people were given tickets to come to the show, to which a couple cheered. There wasn't even a mosh pit.

Travis Scott's Astroworld Festvial (Travis Scott, Migos, Pharrell Williams, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Marilyn Manson, Playboi Carti) - 11/9/2019
I'm a younger dude, but I've recently gotten to the age where im on the back end of being able to like these younger rappers. Travis Scott has held my attention for a couple of years now, and this was my third chance to get to see him. I think hes one of the greatest marketing machines of this generation with the musical output to back it up.

And this year it would have been Pearl Jam and Crowded House.  CH postponed til next year, all being well. I think we have to start again with Pearl Jam which is a shame ad I had 2 ten member tickets for Hyde park.
