well. Looks like we are finally getting the dead and co-esque stream we have been waiting for.

This Saturday, i99 will host a live stream festival with headliners Pearl Jam:

I have no idea what we are getting here, so don't ask me!

It’s not a live stream, it’s previously live broadcasts. Could be anything.

Forgive me, i thought that was understood by "Dead & Co." esque as they have been doing a previously recorded live stream every Saturday since quarantine started, but I can see how my words were misconstrue.

Either way, the band had to sign off on it. If I had to guess, probably a Festival performance from the 2010's

I'd rather just watch a Pearl Jam DVD or youtube than sit through a bunch of other shit.

It depends.  If it's something new, that's uncirculated that could pretty cool.   If it ends up being something that already exists, then it'll probably be one of those Lollapalooza Brazil set's that were broadcast in super awesome HD quality.

Neat but, yeah, practically it's like throwing on a bootleg

I apologize man.  I didn't mean to shit on your post.  This is a crazy time, and it's Pearl Jam.

You're excited for it and wanted to share.  I get it.

I guess I was stating my 40 year old mentality that festivals are tough at my age with health issues, and also because there's usually just one or two bands that I'm REALLY there for...and they generally play shortened festival sets rather than full two sets + encore for Phish, not sure about Pearl Jam.

Also, a lot of us wish that Pearl Jam would do something like Phish's Tuesday night Dinner and a Movie free webcast.

I know Pearl Jam has been more reluctant to do live video in the past, but now seems like a great time to start.

Having further elucidated my comment, I really do hope you enjoy the festival!

What happened to this?  I was kind of curious as to what the PJ content was going to be (in the rase it was something not easily accessible).  Looks like they got taken down by facebook, and no live feed on youtube.....
