Ticketmaster Escalation Fan to Fan Sales

Hey all, I just had a lengthy conversation with someone on the Escalation Team of Ticketmaster.  As an American, I bought Canadian tickets for the shows.  I had to sell them because we couldn't attend.  I sold them.  Ticketmaster then told me that they couldn't pay me in USD and I needed a CAD account.  We had one.  They deposited two amounts .34 and .17, both in CAD into the CAD account.  Meanwhile, they sit and hold the money from me and the person that bought them from me.  I was able to get thru on chat to someone who pointed me to an escalation team member who called me immediately.  After many minutes of them towing the company line, I told that it's unfair that us, the customers, relied upon them to get payment and now can't pay bills, and they sit and collect interest off of two sales for the same tickets.  If you have any free time, I would encourage you to do the same if you are in the same boat.  Meanwhile, rock on.

    I am in the same situation... I don't have a Canadian bank account but I am due the profits from a sale of Canadian tickets on the F2F and Ticketmaster keeps claiming they cannot pay me back. They had no problem taking my money for the purchase, but when it came time to pay it back they can't all of a sudden. It's complete ticketbastard bullshit.

    What is the number for the Escalation Team?

    I didn't have a number.  I did the live chat, then they offered to transfer me to someone, and then that person actually called me on my phone.  I berated her for a good 10 minutes about how they are treating people.

    I would tell them, ether pay you, or give the tickets back to you.... also since TM stated that they will do refunds for 30 days starting May 1 - TM should make you whole at that point..

    You can tell them all you want they are not budging on this. Also that May 1st date is only for shows that are getting new dates. If Pearl Jam does not post new dates you will not be eligible to get a refund on public sale tickets until they do. Even when they do that is different than F2F which they are saying they are also waiting for new dates to offer the seller the money that is entitled to them. They are holding the money right now in case the buyer wants a refund when the new dates are posted. It is ridiculous of them to hold both payments at this time to protect themselves and saving one step when the new dates are announced.

    It worked!  Money deposited today.  I would encourage you to call and make a stink.  Again, ask for escalation.

    I got an email from TM stating they mailed me a check last week and I should receive it by today, May 1st.

    I'll wait to see if it comes in the mail on Monday before wasting my time contacting them again.
