When I first saw the video for this song I was mesmerized. Its in my top 10 favorite PJ songs, near #1. I love the bass on this song. Jeff's style truly is unique.

I have SOOOO much love for this song as well. It's absolutely gorgeous. It really is hard to narrow it down when it comes to PJ songs but yep, it will always be at the top of any list for me.
Ooooh and that video!! !! LOVE IT! It fits so perfectly too. This bass is indeed hypnotizing. And damn, Ed's voice is just beyond words................

I missed it by 3 shows. I desperately wanted it as an opener in Winnipeg or Thunder Bay. I thought they'd play it for Thunder Bay because, you know, it's on a HUGE lake, close to an ocean as they were gonna get till they got to the east coast. Oh well, Present Tense was a pretty darn good opener.

I've been really lucky. They've opened with it twice when I've seen them. Once in St. Louis on the Yield tour and once in Nashville on the last tour. Absolutely amazing both times!!
and the music...so inspiring...one of the best PJ songs...
see ya
