    not the issues, plural. ISSUE. singular. vaccine misinformation. no one else really gives two shits about anything else he has said on his podcast. now people are just using those old clips to try to discredit his apology. 

    yeah, most of us said/did offensive things in the past, the distant past, and evolved with the rest of society with what is acceptable and what is offensive. Joe didn't evolve. or at least not until very, very recently. 

    no one is trying to silence joe. that's nonsense. it's not a "party line" issue. conservatives are silent because they agree with him. liberals are vocal, because they are the ones that typically introduce change. the republicans supporting him are doing so because they like to be able to say and do whatever they want without consequence. 

    joe isn't republican or democrat, so I'm not sure where this "tow the party line" thing came from. he's never been overly political. he mentioned on one podcast he might vote for bernie and of course bernie blew that up. 

    it's not the controversial guests that is the problem; it's that he handles them with kid gloves. unless you are sanjay gupta. 
    Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall

    Bait and switch. Everyone look over here at the blackface liberals who were idiots when social acceptance of those acts was the norm and ignore the current situation when there isn't social acceptance of vaccine misinformation. If you didn't have an issue with it 10, 15 or 20 years ago quit trying to make it an issue today when it suits your interests. This isn't like a leaked video of someone talking about sexually assaulting women. Those comedians performed those skits on national television. Thank god most reasonable people understand it's not ok anymore. We are still a racist nation, but we've improved in some areas, the outcry against blackface (or any other racial/cultural appropriation) being one of those areas.
