    Put your finger under both nostrils. Exhale through your nose. Now put under your right only. Exhale through your nose. Repeat with the left only. My daughter showed us this yesterday. I only had air come out of one side and so did my wife. 

    Disclaimer: we were both feeling good from some California legal medicine so there is that.

    A variation:
    1.  Put your finger under both nostrils.
    2. Exhale through your nose.
    3.  Now put your finger up against both nostrils.
    4. Breath through your nose with your partner or a friend holding a hand close to both of your ears.
    5.  Ask you partner which hand felt the breeze.
