The butterfly is a
play off of the EBRP logo. In the poster it represents a cure, a rebirth
and freedom from EB as the bandages (symbolic of a cocoon) are lifted
off of the figure and become the butterfly. Within the butterfly's upper
wings we see DNA strands representing that EB is a genetic condition.
In the lower wings we see a child growing into an adult, representing
EB's effect on the very young and can last their whole life. The pink "spikes" coming off of the adults skin/face represents the physical and emotional pain that EB can cause.-Steve Thomas
Open edition available next weekend April 17th-19th Reg addition and Foil both available
