A few weeks ago I bought a manic street preachers re issue lp it was 100 euro. And signed by the band. I also got a Brian fallon cd signed for 30 quid. I think this was great value
If pj re issued signed lps.or CDs how much would you pay?. It certainly would be  a lot more then 100 quid. Would they ever do this?

Ps gigaton is great.

i wish i wish i wish i wish, i guess it never stops

The demand on their time to fulfill the orders would make it much too expensive. You see what they get for signed posters for their foundation, signing CDs for a band this popular wouldn't make sense for them at this stage of their career.

I remember picking up a Mike-signed Backspacer LP for $100 (he offered as part of a Crohns fundraiser) back in the day. EV signed posters at his Euro tour were $250. Can’t imagine a full-band signed anything going less than $500

That being said, don’t really see much of a reason to buy signed items unless I was there (or it’s one of those World Series baseballs). I got enough PJ surrounding me at home.

I would not mind the autograph if I was not there and that autograph was was done for me personally.

I met Joey Cape (Lag Wagon) few years ago in Australia while he was doing a small tour in tribute to Tony Sly (No Use For A Name), and asked him to sign the two posters I had just bought.. One for me and one for my best friend. We had a really good and fun talk. I framed that poster and it became a really good souvenir, specially for the talk we had. Same for my friend, since he knows how I met him and Joey wrote something personal to him.

Otherwise, why would I pay 100$ more, straight in some guy I never talked to, because he just wrote his name on something..
