We've now reached the clear dividing line for me between the strong and weak tracks on the album (I might have added Thin Air into the top half).
Take Breakerfall out for me and the top 6 are much stronger than the others for me. Love this album but Soon Forget and Evacuation are easily at the bottom. Could you imagine if they were replaced by Sad and Fatal?
To me this is their first weak album.  I don’t see any pj classics on this one.  There aren’t any songs on here that are going to get the whole arena up and singing.  I.e alive, daughter, corduroy, gtf
It's always fascinating to see how subjective this all is. Yes we always debate these albums but man, tastes around here are so different! Binaural for me has some of the most beautiful PJ songs ever. I find it hard to rate albums but it's definitely up there. Higher than Yield at least ;)

Have there really been any since Yield?

    I’ll give you that one.

To me this album isn't about PJ arena anthems, but it's damn good music. I always loved several of these songs live, but they aren't really sing alongs for the 90's PJ fans.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Nick. It’s kinda funny that you didn’t deduct from PW!
    (No number change).
I hate to say it but PW should be one less than it’s listed at... I think.
Maybe ignore what I'd posted above? I think he meant to take one away from Grievance (that number changed) and leave Parting Ways alone. I think we're going to have to move on either way (and not b/c PW is my fave!)

Hi, I host a Pearl Jam Podcast. We go back to some of the classic shows in their history and break down the entire setlist front to back. From historic perspective, to performances, to setlist construction, to fan stories. We do our best to capture the magic that is their live act and help you relive those memories, or if you weren't there, maybe turn you on to a show you've never heard before.

Live On 4 Legs can be found on Apple Podcast, Spotify and any other major podcast platform. But please support our website and check out the episodes archived there. Oh, and the Concertpedia as well (for you Five Horizons and Two Feet Thick fans, we've picked up where they've left off)

I agree with you on this point, for sure. I don't really group these songs in with the ones from the first five albums (and all their outtakes) but instead just enjoy listening to the songs in their own.
To clarify, I really only listen to concert version nowadays and make A LOT of compilations from the bootlegs. However, I most enjoy listening to the mix I made using the only Binaural performances from the 2000 bootlegs as opposed to placing them along side the likes of Corduroy and RVM.

I'm impressed by Breakerfall's "never die" spirit.
