What's worse?

Waiting seven long ass years for the bands long awaited follow up album or them finally releasing said album and it's so damn kick ass you want to see the the songs live but can't because we're in a global lockdown for who knows how long? I'm sure Chad Kroeger is quarantined somewhere laughing his ass off about that one right about now.

I'd vote for the global lockdown being worse.

Getting tickets for 5 European shows including your 50th & knowing it won't be happening really does suck

Dropping an album and then not being able to tour it vs. not going to a show?

Not getting to tour your new album, or enabling the company you hate most in the world to hold about $50m of your fans money indefinitely?

Yea that one is probably worse right about now. I know I have roughly $2k worth of shows just sitting in their bank accounts. And I would suspect for others it’s probably two to three times more than that.

The upside is we'll all have lived and breathed the album for a while before we get to see it performed live.   I think it'll make us all appreciate the new songs that much more.

Now we know how Coldplay fans felt before the lockdown.

I was proud of Coldplay to make that Earth saving decision and would have been pleased if PJ had done the same. Yes, I know they throw money at the pollution they create but that doesn't seem the same.

The global lockdown is the worst, but at least we do finally have Gigaton to listen to.
They haven’t toured Australia since 2014, and that was just festivals. So it’ll be a 7 year wait for a record and a 7+ year wait for a tour.

At least have some great music to listen to while stuck at home. Eventually they'll be able to play shows again, and I have a feeling that they'll be amazing and well worth the wait.

I can't be that stupid as I know your post should have read "you're stupid" not your stupid, though I guess I've owned you in this exchange so maybe you were referring to yourself and my ownership of you?

on the positive side we shouldnt have to wait another 7 years while on lockdown the band can write some new songs to go with the tour next year we would have gigaton and more!

Dude I was thinking the same thing! Hopefully the boys are using this time wisely and mixing those other 11 songs they wrote for this album.

Worse??...The untimely death of Neil Peart and knowing Rush will never make another album/or play together as a trio again....

Pretty sure whoever won a chance to have breakfast with Stone and Mike before the Apollo show is gonna go insane spending the next year trying to perfect the right questions to ask.
