After 20+ years of being together, 16+ years of living together, 12+ years of being married, one child together, and both having jobs where we travel a lot....the answer is undoubtedly, unquestionably, beyond any shadow of a doubt
    ......yes.

Seriously though, we are all far happier humans being home and tucked in. Introvert works for us.

I think, for a lot of people, not having a break from each other to renew and reset is proving to be very challenging.  The natural inclination is to start bickering because you’re bored.

It’s not an issue for us currently, as my spouse is considered an essential worker so he’s working 7-on, 7-off and, thankfully, has a home reno project to work on on the off days.  Also, my inclination is to be a night-owl, whereas he’s the opposite.

It sucks for a lot of people right now.  My sympathies go out to anyone who’s struggling.

Yup!  Even in non-virus times

And the fact that his "office" is in the bedroom helps both of us.  I definitely need my me-time, at least mentally.

M works from home 5 days a week.  He is either in the living room on his work computer and home laptop or in the bedroom on the Mac.

K is distance learning 5+ days a week.  Most of this is done from her bedroom, but sometimes she craves light and company so she'll come out to the kitchen table.

I am often either doing dishes (geeze with all of the dishes y'all), laundry, tidying, organizing the neglected spaces or outside weeding and toodling through the gardens.

Though our house isn't large, during "working hours" we are all respectful of each others space.  I do check to see if K is up by 7:15 AM.  She is typically working on school at about 7:30 AM. M generally works 9-5, but sometimes rocks 10-6.

    Breakfast is on your own.

We have lunch and dinner together.

It's working for us.  We quite enjoy being at home altogether.  It's nice to see that everyone has kind of de-stressed while being in the gentle confines of the family home.  The stay-at-home order has stopped pop-ins.  God we hate pop-ins.  We also hate the Baptists trying to save our souls, the Jehovah Witnesses coming to share their news, the politicians trying to have us vote for them, the lawn companies who don't understand people who are really okay with weeds, the people with surveys, people trying to sign us up for their service . . . it's quiet.  It's lovely.

    Yes.  Yes it is.

I've been working from home the past few years.  To go from spending my day alone with the dog to my wife and I both working from home with a 3 year old and a 10 month old has been juuuuuust a bit of an adjustment to say the least.

This fucking virus is wrecking everything.   And only 3 weeks into it?  Fuck, I don't know.

    Nahh, it's good.
More time with your favorite person is a good thing.  We work together anyways so this isn't very different than the normal routine.  It just sucks having so much time we could be using for recreation and being stuck at home instead.

Children are much more of a challenge just because the more attention they get, the more they expect and an adult can only spend so much time pretending to be a Ninja Turtle before they start to want to go dive head first into a pond and bury themselves in the mud.

For a minute there I thought recreation was the same as reproduction. Sorry, English is not my first language. Please continue :P

My sister and her husband have worked together (their own business) for thirty years. It’s working out much the same for them too, though their children are in their 20s.

And your point about time with your favorite person...quite true. I’d go nuts being essentially sequestered with someone who grates on my fucking nerves. Hell, I’m amazed my mom and stepdad haven’t murdered each other by now

Its not 24/7 by any stretch. But am sure the wife wants to see less of me anyway.

I keep testing her sense of smell to see if she has it......Its not my fault. she's the one who keeps feeding me....

Ah, team effort!  I'll propose this concept to my husband should the need arise, so to speak.

(Speaking of which, I'm guessing the porn industry is taking quite a hit in production.)

The porn industry is endlessly inventive. Even if hard hit, they will rise again ;)

Considering I read “camming” as “clamming”, your post works just fine, Hobbes!
