I think the production on the album is fantastic. The drums sound amazing, it's the first time I'm really driven to pay attention do Matt's drumming on a PJ album. More importantly, on many songs, it sounds like the band live, it's especially apparent on Quick Escape for example, sounds like it's right out of their PA! I would be curious to hear of the song LB would sound recorded by Josh, I bet he would push mike to just shred for two minutes like they do live. Really digging what Josh did!

    You can say that again! I listened to the whole CD last night through great corded headphones and holy shit. The last minute of Quick Escape is mind blowing!!!!! It is the Matt, Mike and Jeff show like no other. Amazing sounding this record.

    Agree too. We all have our opinions on the albums song wise but as far as production goes I'm pressed to find a better album. So much space and clarity. Technology probably plays a big part and Brendan didn't have as many tools at his disposal, but that didn't stop him from making great sounding albums (Rick Parashar too-I'm a sucker for the original Ten sound). But man this thing is great.

    Funny, I like everything but the drum sound. Sounds too thin to me.
