Thin Air. I played it to a girl the other night and she melted. Pearl Jam and SCORE go hand-in-hand.

  • i was at a wedding recently and the last song they played was yellow ledbetter because that is what pj usually ends with. it was so awesome. i don't know where the bride was by that time, but me and a few of the groomsmen had a hell of a time singing our drunken guts out. it was totally memorable.
Caught a bolt 'a lightnin'...cursed the day he let it go...

Me and my wife wanted to do "Can't Help..." but the quality on a PA system was really bad, so I finally talked her into Ledbetter. I argued that the words really don't matter compared to the music and the mood it projects. She finally bought into the idea and thats what we went with. After it's all said and done we both agree that it was the best choice we could have had. Even guest who hadn't heard of PJ was saying what a beautiful song and moment it was, and those who knew said it was perfect for us.

One of the most perfect moments in my life. Later on during the reception the whole wedding party danced and sang to the top of our lungs during "Alive". Very nice night.

We were introduce to Baba live from a chicago show we went to together.

Had a dance to Smile but not our first dance.

    Closed the night with Alive.

1st dance is a tough one. I let my wife pick a Garth Brooks song. I don't even know the name of it.

have you ever heard the hunter's & collectors version of this song? great lyrics, wrong band.

there's no doubt in my mind "throw your arms around me" will be played at my wedding, the 2-23-03 perth show version, of course

"Lukin" or "Animal"... either one will get the families thinking.

"she lies and says she's in love with him" nah i dont think the idea fits. BUT... I have that symphony version of it and it would be beautiful for the wedding party to walk down the isle to. Right when it gets to the "she lies" part the bride enters. Ive listened to it alot and its beautiful for a wedding when there are no lyrics :)
