What are some of your best PJ songs you have done lyrical modifications to?

I realize this is downright blasphemy but sometimes it is necessary; I have a 3 1/2 year old and have had to say "drop the leash get out of my "freakin'" face", for obvious reasons. Other times I have just found myself in situations like, teaching him to poop on the potty and "drop, drop, droppin' a deuce...oh so gently" must have been uttered from my mouth because it was repeated back to me the next trip to the potty. Finally, I remember singing "have I got a little story for you...eat your hamburger patty or no cookie for you."

    lmfao! :)
"I'd rather be with an animal." "Those that can be trusted can change their mind." "The in between is mine." "If I don't lose control, explore and not explode, a preternatural other plane with the power to maintain." "Yeh this is living." "Life is what you make it."
  • Maybe Pearl Jam should make a record for Kids.

    Funny stuff.

    :D:D:D
Beavis : Is this Pearl Jam?
Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
    Butt-head: Well, they both suck.

  • when i sing along with Satan's Bed, I change the last line from "I'll wait for an angel but I won't hold my breath" to "I'll wait for an angel but I won't wait all day" so it rhymes with the last line "imagine they're busy think i'm doin' okay"

my copy of In Utero actually says that! it's so fucking lame. My mom bought it for me when we were at k-mart when I was like 12 years old.

she also once got me an edited version of Warren G's Regulators album. "If I told you once I told you a thousand times mom, you can't buy CDs at a "mart""

reminds me of when my father potty trained me to CCR songs

(cliche police might cuff me for that one)
yeah, i remember when that happened, i was like "what the fuck is nirvana doing?" and then cobain killed himself a couple months later, and i realized at that time some brilliant marketing exec probably pitched the idea to them and he didnt give a fuck about anything anymore at that point so he probably was like "whatever"
