Cuban alcoholic coffee drink

Along time ago whilst in Cuba the hotel barman would make us a hot coffee drink.. I remember that the glass was dipped in suger first but that's it.. So as I've been in lockdown for a few weeks I now need to start experimenting.. 
So I know it's a long shot but if you want know what they use in a proper cuban coffee recipe then please let me know..

No.. No one from Cuba.. No one been to Cuba.. Lol OK.. Has anyone got any good recipes for mixing coffee spirit drinks.. Just looking for a change from cider.

I would just put jameson in my coffee and was fine with that.  I only did that on cold winter days while golfing though.

Got pissed other day.. Started with the coffee then once I'd drank that I couldn't be bothered to make more so straight on the way vodka lol..

Thanks. I'm going to be trying that Tomo.. Need to add stuff to the shopping list as well as we have a slot for tesco lol.... Its hard to get food delivered at the moment.. Nightmare
