I have a friend who asked me to find him the fastest live version of Even Flow. Anyone have any suggestions?

    No one knows of any shows that had a faster-than-usual Even Flow? Anyone know of a certain tour where songs just seemed to be a bit faster?

    just did a little comparison of Utrecht '92 and Safeco 2 2018. Just the first verse of Safeco is about 6 seconds faster!

    If we wanted to be really scientific, we'd need to look at tempo rather than the song length.

    yes, that is what i'm trying to find. fastest tempo. sorry if there was any confusion.

    Too bad they don't have 2006 there. But some of the late 2000 shows seem to be quite fast, about 130 bpm, South America 2015 also exceed those. That's over 20 bpm faster than the 1993 shows.  I'm keeping count by using the tap tempo feature on Garageband app on my phone.

    Just expressing my own opinion and my tastes, to me, when they speed up the tempo, it is for the worse.  I feel like they're rushing through just to get more songs played, the sped up songs to me lack something.  Severed Hand is one of those that get sped up and to me loses everything.  Like when someone tries to burp the alphabet really fast in one gasp of air.  Why do they speed up songs anyway?  They didn't on the album, why should they now?

    Someone did track bpm of even flow over the years. From memory 06 was fastest. Try searching around it's buried here somewhere

    If I remember correctly there were some early live versions of Not For You that were a lot faster than the album version.

    '06 for sure. Just pick a version from any show.
    It's a hopeless situation...
