Reallocation of fan club seats

risrisrisris Posts: 81
I received an email concerning refunding of tickets today and was it got me to wondering if Pearl Jan should reallocate tickets for the 10c members that are still able to go to their show.

I believe the purpose of having the membership is to be able to have access to the best seats for a show.

Just saying 😄

Stay safe everyone.

In a perfect world that would make sense.  But with the state of the world right now I don’t think it’s a priority to slide everyone up a couple rows to account for any refunds.  And I also think that would be a lot of work for the ten club.

If there is in fact people requesting refunds on 10c tickets, it would be pretty cool if they could offer those seats to members who initially requested that show during the 10c pre sale but ended up getting shut out. Speaking as someone who missed out on Oakland 1.
  • Well......the Dave Matthews Band's fan club does this with their instant ticketing program.....and ins't Pearl Jam now using their ticketing services for the Ten Club?

I think DMB posts up their leftovers on the instant tickets, the OP is asking if Ten Club would reallocate the refunded tickets to allow those with tickets to upgrade to better seats.

The instant ticketing function is already in place, where the refunded tickets can just be dropped into the F2F exchange. Maybe just provide 10 Club members with a passcode to get access to them first?

The DMB instant tickets are limited to the fan club only.  Don't see why it can't be done for Pearl Jam and the Ten Club also.

Personally, I don't see the spring tour dates getting rescheduled until 2021. Think of all the tours that will need to be rescheduled, not just PJ's. It's going to be a scheduling nightmare for all the artist and venues which will inevitably cause some tours to be delayed a while I would imagine.

To be honest, the one tour I'm really worried about getting scrapped is RATM. Something tells me this whole tour was really to just wake America the fuck up in advance of the elections, and if they can't tour before that happens they may just waive the entire thing off.

Don't mean to be a Debbie downer, just trying to wrap my head around all this to mentally prepare myself.

Nah. There'd still be enough demand to fill Baltimore arena at least

Ah yes, didn't even think about that. In the meantime, good old Ticketbastard gets to hold onto all of my cash for all these shows I was planning on attending this year while they get this mess sorted out.
