No Iowa "One Night Only" showings - WTF

Once again, Iowa is an afterthought.   Been sending notes to theaters in DSM/AMES that are equipped w Atmos in hope they can get on board somehow.  Perhaps some more noise will help.  Get out there and help the cause!!!  Please????!!

    More dates are still being added... Chicago just showed up yesterday after only showing suburb shows for a few days. Keep the faith!

    Fleur Cinema's response:   "Being a Pearl Jam fan, I absolutely would love to do this. However the only way we would be able to book something like this is if somebody were to rent the theater out and purchase the rights to view the film."

    I'm guessing theatre's don't think they can get enough butt's in the seats to warrant licensing the film.  It's the same where I live.  Vancouver, the major population centre gets a screening, but here in Victoria we do not.  Which was the same when the new Kevin Smith film came out a few months ago.    If it's not a big action blockbuster, theatre chains are hesitant to screen it :(  It results it only being played on so many screens which means travel :(

    A Hawkeye buddy of mine was chasing a lead on a cinema in Cedar Rapids. Marcus Theaters, maybe?

    I live just outside Cedar Rapids, so it would be excellent if they would be added to the list.  I'd probably be willing to drive the nearly 2 hours to Des Moines, but would love a "home" show!  I guess I'm not sure if Cedar Rapids has a theatre that has Dolby Atmos.

    Just went to Marcus Theatres website to the "Contact Us" section and begged them to consider bringing this to Cedar Rapids  ;)

    Exactly what i did to get Flix to add.  Frankly, I’m shocked they did without a financial commitment.  Hoping a decent few show up.  Highly looking forward to it!  Not only the album, but the Atmos format should be tight.
