Question about "Jeremy" Live....

I was listening to the Edmonton 2005 boot and heard Jeremy again and it sparked a question.

I noticed that Ed had changed the lyrics to remove "daddy" in the lyrics leading up to the chorus...and replaced them both with "mother"...

I remember it happening during the show and thinking to myself that was strange but I was so into the show I didn't give it a second thought until today...

Does he do this for all of the live performances of Jeremy (as few and far between as they are)? Was this something he did on purpose do you think?

Just curious as to your thoughts...

Cheers,

  • Well, in a lot of recents shows he's changed "daddy" and "mommy" to "father" and "mother" and he doesn't sing the chorus the first time around...not really sure why either...

  • Sorry, but I refuse to answer any questions by a guy named after such a crappy band.
