PJ To Open El Mocambo Toronto ?

The owner says here that they hope to have Pearl Jam open the refurbished club in Toronto, but clearly nothing is confirmed.   There are conflicting reports on the opening, but they state it as April 1st in this video.  Ive also seen "march".  Could we see a secret show there on the 17th??

    Im pretty skeptical, but it would be amazing.  It would impossible to get in to this show though if it did happen with a 400 person capacity and the likelihood that it would mostly be industry and friends/family of the owner.

    OMG.  Id say it’s a long shot but you never know.  Things could really line up here.  It be a tough ticket. I don’t even want to think about it as I’d probably pay upwards of $1000 to see them there.

    According to this old article, in 2014 you could book PJ for $300k-$500k.

    That sounds closer to their actual per show fee on tour, I bet their corporate / private event fee is higher.  Im completely guessing though.

    That is a very good point.  Hes possibly just trying to get free hype by listing bands he would hypothetically like to book.  Its a lot cheaper than actually booking the acts.

    Was in Glasgow last summer and King Tut's Wah Wah Hut has the names of the bands that have played there on the stairs too.
