R.I.P. David Roback

First of all, forgive me eeriepadave for overriding your post about David Roback.  It's just that I'm such a big fan, I had to have this little tribute to him.

Oh, this is heartbreaking.  David Roback was a major force in the Neo-psychedelia/ Paisley Underground music movements as a member of the early incarnation of Rain Parade and later of Mazzy Star fame.  I'm in tears as I write this.  Gone at 61, way too young.

“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

Such an influential musician. He mixed all sorts of genres to come up with a signature sound. This is sad.
