EDIT: Canadian About to post on Fan2Fan for USA shows (LA1 & 2)

Unable to attend both shows as I had a surgery date (9Apr) that was scheduled after purchase of tix.

No luck posting 2x tix (reserved floor behind GA both nights) for LA1 & LA2 on TM Fan2Fan.

Contacted TM and issue is that I'm in Canada and the shows are in USA, American shows require an American bank account to receive payment.

So I need to get a US bank account to have somewhere to deposit the funds as the Receive Payment options of Savings (CA) or Checking (CA) will not work for "cross border" shows. Same is true in the inverse (Cdn Bank account required for Cdn Shows).

Putting it out there in case anyone else is having same issue.

Now to investigate the "how to" of setting up a US bank account to hopefully get the tix in someone's hand and recoup my funds.

    I can confirm...i'm in USA and trying to list my Toronto tix.....TM said I have to have a Canadian bank account number in order to re-sell.  FML

    I would say find someone you trust in the USA, give hem your TM info and have them post for you, and send you the money when they sell. Most Canadians I've met have family or close friends in the USA.

    Good Day,
    I purchased 2x tix to each of the LA shows (15 & 16 Apr) for my wife and I to attend. We would have flown from Victoria BC, but our plans changed due to my receiving a surgery date of 9 April. I've attempted to sell the tix via Fan2Fan, but I wasn't able to post the tix. Just had an online chat with Ticketmaster, they indicated that I am unable to post the tix for sale as I do not have a US bank account (the pull down options include Savings (CA), Checking (CA)).
    Is there any assist Tenclub can offer to get these tickets in the hands of a fanclub member and me getting reimbursed the funds I've expended for shows I cannot attend.

    Setting up a US account thru RBC isn't difficult and to pay for the account for one month isn't a hardship, but if 10C / TM can get a fix in place to not have to go the US bank account route...I'll await 10C word and keep on keeping on til then.

    Thanks for the update!  I'm in the same boat, on the other side (US trying to sell Canadian tix).  I figured the 10C would say this was a TM issue.  Keep us updated!

    Hey so I was having this issue yesterday also however when I tried to list for sale through the app it allowed me to enter a US bank account for the Canadian show.  So try the app!!!!

    Was experiencing the same issue, Canadian trying to sell LA2 tickets.

    Tried on desktop & mobile, nothing worked with my Canadian bank account.

    Ended up using an American buddy's debit card & it worked! Tickets posted & sold.

    It you have the option, this route may be less of a headache. Good luck!

    I have the same issue, Canadian trying to sell extras for Nashville.

    I have the opposite problem, Im in US, but accidentally (dont ask) got a pair for Ottowa. I want to sell them on F2F but it wont let me use my debit or my bank account, presumably because they are in the US.  Anyone got a workaround for this?

    I was just able to list using my USA Checking Account through the app. Will update once tickets are sold.
