Question about LA Forum

I apologize for creating a whole thread for this, but didn’t know where else to ask.

I scored tickets through the 10C sale, but with number 446xxx, I ended up 20 rows back in the second section behind J).

As my wife and I are both around 5’8”, I’d imagine this is probably the worst place to be in the building...is that a fair assumption?

As we are flying to LA (and have long wanted to see a show at the Forum), I just wanted to confirm that we’d be better off just about anywhere else (if we are lucky enough to score a pair through F-T-F)?

Thanks kindly

If you have night two I will trade you for my section 102 tickets. They aren't great but at least you're are elevated
  • "I ended up 20 rows back in the second section behind J"?
Do you mean 20 rows back IN Sec J? There is only one section on floor BEHIND Sec J which is Sec 3. Sec 3 (&1) are risers which do elevate row to row but not quite as much as the 100 and 200 Sec rows. If in Sec 3 or 1 you will be fine, If in Sec J maybe not so much. I've been on the flat floor with 5' even wife who said never again and I was OK but not great at 5' 11". Good Luck

  • The above post is how I remember it from the Chris Cornell tribute concert.  I was seated in the area of what is labeled section 1 and I recall a slight elevation.  It was a great location.
  • Rear floor is tough.  LA Forum has a flat floor.  Similar to San Diego Sports Arena.  Lakers and Kings used to play at the Forum.  I'm about 5'10" and when I saw them in 2003 in San Diego, I was in row-T on the floor.  That was 20 rows back.  I was as far back as the lighting and sound platform.  When Idllwild opened, I thought "wow, pretty good seats".  Then Pearl Jam hit the stage and everybody stood up.  I could see the band's shoulders and heads if I kept on my tip-toes and swayed side by side.  Really awful seats.  I wished I was up by the jerseys in the rafters in the back instead of where I was.
Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river
