Just saw an ad in Entertainment Weekly that has Ed listed as being on the show that Stand Up 2 Cancer is putting to raise money for cancer on Sept 5th at 8pm eastern. It has all three major networks listed so I'm not totally sure if it will be on all three or what.

it's only 1 hour, which surprised me, but they have a lot into that hour, and no commercials. Saw the three news anchors for abc, nbc, and cbs on Larry King live a couple weeks ago talking about it. It's good to see this level of attention on the fight against cancer, Lance Armstrong's foundation is doing a great job also.

looking forward to it, hearing Rise at the movie theater previews several times the last few weeks has been very cool. Nice ad. They did the stand up thing at Fenway park a couple weeks ago when I was at a Red Sox game also.

It's going to be 1 hour for each network.

No, 1 hr total, no commericals, on all three networks at the same time. It's hosted by Brian Williams, Katie Couric, and Charles Gibson.

So does Ed open the show with "Rise" or end it with it?

They must've changed it. Cuz when I first heard about it. It was one for each network.

I'm going by why I heard the three anchors say on Larry King, and the website seems to say the same.
