So someone with a better ear than I have musically maybe able to answer this but is this not the same chorus twice over? It just repeats at the 18 second mark right?

Oh wow, it absolutely is, ha! This makes me feel much better because I didn't like how repetitive it was.

Definitely the outro to the song, I can definitely see this riff being what drives the verses, with a distortion heavy banger of a chorus mixed in. I'm excited about this for sure!
Listen to some of my music here (if you want to):

I didn't love DOTC the first time I heard it, and now I totally do, whereas I totally dig this one on first listen...nice little riff (sure, I wish it were more distorted, but those days are long gone), can't wait to hear Mike's solo on this one!
I could just about point my phone at anything and it seem to work. Tried a lightbulb at first because I couldnt be bothered getting up then even the light switch on the wall seem to work. Quite like this.
I was not immediately hooked, but the same could be said of the first snippet of DotC on the BS pod. I’m just happy that they’re swerving instead of pumping out more paint by numbers PJ songs.

Great call. You are totally right and it gives me much greater hope for the song. Dig the guitar tone. Reminds me of the Satan’s Bed riff.
Hearing some Black Keys vibes. The common thread with both this song and DOTC is that the new material really sounds like the band is having fun again. That “fun” has been missing for awhile
What I hear is a cross between RITFW and Rolling Stones, "Bitch" on the guitar part. As for the vocals, maybe it's the phone or whatever, but it sounds very distant or mixed low. Lastly- Today/tonight, moonrise on the west coast is 10:54pm and is about a quarter. probably not the best day for this app and promotion. Glad my desk lamp sufficed as a moon.
Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river
