Strange that they're listing these showings using the Let's Play Two link.

    No Chicago?!

Edit: Ok, I see South Barrington there, guess that'll have to do.
Emagine in Frankfort would cover south suburbs if that's more convenient. Also, I happened across info that AMC Naperville may have it. (It doesn't show up on the latest links circulating, but could still be possible.)

Only 15 cinemas showing this in the UK. Luckily one of them is walking distance from my house  =)

Any idea what ticket prices will be like for this?

To book a night in Toronto to go see this the night after Pearl Jam's Hamilton show or make the very long drive back home on the 25th? Hmm ...
  • This stuff drives me nuts - Coldplay in Atmos you can only listen on some stupid app on your mobile device or an Amazon Echo. Not...you know...in the home theatre room you have your 5.2.4 Atmos-enabled system in FFS!! Going to the cinema? Sure, that's cool, but what after? One day? You spent how long mixing this from multitracks and I get to hear it once? Let's hope they announce a single disc Blu-ray version of the album with the Atmos mix on it. Dolby are f'n idiots for the way they're trying to market Atmos for studio music to people. The average person doesn't give a toss about the loudness wars, mp3 vs flac, quality equipment, etc., and they don't give a toss about surround sound for music either. There is a segment of the market, albeit a niche one, that will spend money on these releases if they're in a physical format they can own just like vinyl. You don't have an Atmos system if your idea of a good surround is a $200 HTiB. You are the kind of customer that doesn't bat an eyelid at spending $500+ on a subwoofer.

Come on PJ, after the showing please offer this in a format we can order for the home.

Theater listed for Louisville (Escape Blankenbaker) knows nothing of the event and was surprised to be listed as they “don’t do one-off events like that.”  Manager confirmed with Area Manager.  🤷🏻‍♂️

Would be just as happy to have a home version Blu-Ray...I have the Atmos setup.

I would be happy with the BluRay too, as there were no listings on the website for any Atlantic Canada showings.

When the link was up, nothing in all of PA and only Parsippany in NJ. Hope that changes when it's made official.

I hope not, still holding out hope for a real Chicago showing and not the suburbs.
  • I seem ro remember many theaters were added after the initial list of theatres for PJ20 was released

Guessing that list is incomplete until they get closer to the date. Chicago could easily pick up something downtown with the number of AMC options available.
