YES. Was also thinking War Pigs would be cool, the band knows it from the totd tour.  It seems like they’ve boxed themselves into playing the same 4 or 5 covers almost every night. They really should bust out some new ones or dust off some old ones.

  • I think some (of the MANY) covers PJ does or have done kinda fit a certain timeframe of the band, and this is one of them. "Timeless Melody" is another. That got played a lot in 2000, then, I'm not sure if it was ever played again. Act of Love in the mid-90's is similar. And Comfortably Numb (my least favorite cover) in recent years.

On the other hand, RITFW, Baba, Fuckin' Up, and Sonic Reducer are a few of the ones that stood the test of time and are just as likely to be played an a show in 2020 as they were in the 90's.

I've been "fortunate" to see the last 2 performances of Fortunate Son in Vegas 2006 and Missoula 2012.

The screeching cat ruined the version in Nashville 03 so I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
