I need and Eddie show. I needed a Pearl Jam. I think what I really needed was an Earthling show. Got to the venue and got an upgraded seat and a drink ticket. It's amazing how generous this band and the members are.

Still on a high from the show. Love Earthling - something about it means more since I heard the songs with fresh ears. Invincible is fascinating and my favorite track.

I love how much Glen harmonized live on the Earthling songs (and the show in general) that I did something I've been meaning to do for years and never did before and that's listen to his solo stuff. I had Swell Season, hell I saw them before he started touring with Ed (I loved Once) but never caught on with me again. And how dumb am I? His album Rhythm and Repose is just spectacular. Go listen. Like now.

Thanks! You know what I love? Live on Two Legs getting a rerelease. I can't remember ever being so concerned over getting an album. Maybe it's when you'd line up for midnight sales and hope they didn't sell out. That was a thing. It's something we're missing now; that comradery in anticipation. I see it on these boards, the love for this band and their music. It makes you forget a lot and remember a lot more.

Didn't think I'd ever get my hands on The Greatest Hits. It's the only release I've never bought - didn't need it when I was buying cds. But I love the idea of it on vinyl. It's fun. I'm stoked to roll through it. It'll be a good intro to the kids in a few years.

I had to drive home last night in a snow squall. Never heard of one before but it was wicked weird; swirling snow and wind blasts on back country roads in pitch black....what a trip. Exhilarating really.

Listening to the La's album - it's good. I had no clue they were a Stone Roses early 90's British Invasion type band. It's funny, if you don't pay attention you only hear the noise Oasis made and lose a few great bands in the mix.

Mark Lanegan....the community that I grew up listening to dwindles by the day. I didn't know these people but it still hits. I can't imagine for those who were close to see their friends go...must be so hard.

I've listened to more Glen Hansard in the past two weeks than Eddie Vedder. I loved the show. I really like the album, but Glen is just speaking on a whole different level to me at the moment.

Two more shows and hopefully some movement on the PJ front. I loved seeing this iteration of Ed's music. It was just a phenomenal experience. I hope they give it another go at some point.

I heard "Invincible" for the first time live and I haven't looked back. I find something new and exciting with each listening. It's such a beautiful song.

Finally checked the RSD website and "Live on Two Legs" is indeed there. Bummer is I have a packed Saturday. Not sure how I'll juggled but I'll make something work.

What I think fascinates me about my relationship with Pearl Jam's music is that it's never waned. I go through periods but for 30 years I've been an avid fan/listener. I thought the same would go for Radiohead and Wilco after I discovered them but not so. I rarely listen. Even The Stones; just another band I loved for a period and pick up here and there. Nostalgia only carries something so far.

Anyone else do that completely weird and indescribable thing where they get a Vault or other rare releases and you don't open them but let them sit there like a baseball card? My Vault 3 is opened and has been spun but when I see the worth, I'm like is it dumb to use? Even though that show is fire?
