jeremy and yellowledbedder are the same

I feel that jeremy is the person that the song yellowledbedder is refering to
and that god talks to him and he is scared because he does not know if he is jesus or satan. And that he is laying in a yellow jailcell. Thinking that when he gets out of the cell and sees the world God will have made it the way he being jeremy the son of god wanted it to be. And he knows what he wants and how to get their

    my thoughts exactly.

    well,not exactly.replace god with a big giant bunny and the yellow jailcell
    with an offwhitish birdcage and that when he gets out of the birdcage
    he will become the next american idol and those would be my thoughts.

    Jeremy is a song about a kid killing himself in front of his class, so why is he lying in a Yellow jail cell? He's dead.

    And anyway, Ed said himself that YLB is "an anti-patriotic song". It was originally called Yellow Letter, which is the nickname for a telegram sent to families of dead soldiers during the Gulf War.

    Also, the original Yellow Ledbetter (Yellow Letter) was written before Jeremy.

    wher do the lyrics in the song jeremy state that he kills himself. Pearljam stopped making videos because of this confusing. Total control by the record industry to make a video that sells albums even if it does not project the song properly. Hence no more pearl;jam videos. I hear stories about this kid jeremy that killed himself in texas and other places. But why does nobody listen to eddie vedder himself. Rolling Stone magazine 1992-1993 I do not know the specific issue but eddie is on the cover. He says he got the call on the beach for the gig to rehearse with the former members of motherlovebone only i believe he did not know it was the former members of motherlovebone because his agent only told him. It was a well established band with a record contract. And eddie claims that on his ride to seattle to rehearse with this band. He got a vision from god and the lyrics to jeremy came to him. That is why pearljam tours so extensivly and to so many differnt parts of the world. It is a promise he made to god. Eddie refuses to discuss what god told him. And i know why because the same happened to me. And noibody believes me. They just think im crazy.

    I see where you're coming from. God talked to me a couple of years ago and told me to write a hit song entitled "Hit me baby one more time." I just kinda ignored him though, and what do you know, he must of told somebody else. I'm still kicking myself in the nuts for that.

    Yes it's from the Article. In the article he is referring to, Jeremy, killed his class mates & himself.

    During a concert, Ed spoke of the article and the fact that he himself witnessed a kid in his school freaking out, which Ed also based some of the lyrics on.

    The two stories became one in the song Jeremy.

    I thought he killed a few students too. I'm trying to remember. I remember about the time when that happened. It was in Richardson, Texas right?

    I know it was in Texas. We've had a few of those incidents.

    Whilst I was reading that article Jeremy started playing totally randomly, I have my playlist on shuffle. Aside from weirding me out, it gave the song a more real edge ( I didn't know this before) and I almost cried.
    One time I was trying to print a picture of me so I could give it to a friend to cheer him up after he was diagnosed with cancer, but the printer jammed, and my friend died.
