Light Years

This one always gets me. 2000 was the same year my grandfather died and that man was one of my idols. The line " we were but stones, your light made us stars " The whole song just reminds me of him. When i heard it live for the first time was amazing. Thought about him the whole time they were playing it
Who cares if the world is going down the toilet? Eddie Vedder got his mojo back!

    I think of the first girl I fell in love with when I hear this song. She's gone now, and in college...things didn't end well in our relationship, and I do think of her sometimes.

    "I've figured out numbers and what they're for". I created a site: http://www.megspace.com/science/porsche911/numerology/ which deals with numbers, and I think this line fits, but I'm very sceptical that it's the meaning Eddie meant. HOWEVER, that said, they mean what we interpret them to mean. Interpret that how you will! Great song!

    fell in love with it also instantly love the live version cymbal crashes better than the studio...

    remember that girl on here a while back who wanted us all to listne to it on a certain day??? i still think of her...it was for her mom with cancer i think
