Im not so into lookin the meaning of the songs word by word in detail, but in this case, although it's clear it reffers to this homeless guy and we can also tell this by looking the booklet of the CD, if you've read Dostoievsky's book "Crime and punishment" (one of the bests novels ever) you could tell that the song could perfectly be inspired on Raskolnikov, it's main character.
The firste verse and chorus match perfectly with this, i mean his bad health and twisted mind the wish of that everithing could be allright and all the other thoughts and feelings at the same time and, this is important, he is in a very poor condition also.
In the second verse, the last two lines, match with his feelings about spending time on a siberian prision and how people will make him feel shame when they find out what he has done, whatever, all the song remembers me that book!

those who read it will understand me, so i want your opinions

sorry for my bad english

  • I read that book some years ago.
mmmm...i don't know, you could be right, but maybe it's just an involuntary reference, even flow could suit so many situations related to homelessness in general. Anyway it's an interesting point!
