    Are you familiar with the Live @ The Garden version? (2003)

    He doesn't really mess up the words, and the tag is really nice.

    Their are a loooot of versions where Ed absolutely butchers the song, both lyrically & musically, but those are usually pretty funny in their own way...

    Montreal '03 was phenominal. I was there - a great show, but this was a highlight.

    after an extended jam at the end, ed keeps it going and starts to sing,

    I wish I was a radio song,
    The one they wouldn't make money on
    A song that wouldn't be bought and sold
    or turned into a commercial when we get old,

    Then more jamming....

    Then

    I wish I was the president
    I'd keep them from killing girls and men
    I'd figure out a way around war
    I always thought that's what presidents were for

    It's about a 10 minute version - best I've heard.

    The Chicago Vic version is quite good....
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    I like the 12/02/06 Hawai'i tag. Then again, that whole show was pretty awesome.

    there's a really good wishlist from one of the Japan boots. can't remember which one it is, but the tag was pretty sweet.

    ...which Australian 03 show it is (but it has to be Sydney 1 or 3), but I remember afunny tag, when the guitar plays the intro of "Waiting on a friend" (Rolling Stones) and Eddie responds to it trying to sing the falsett-like intro and stopping it cause he has to laugh...
