**ST.LOUIS 2022 SONG REQUEST, "THROW YOUR ARMS AROUND ME"

Long time forum member, recent defector,
first time song requester. 

Please play “Throw Your Arms Around Me” at the St.Louis show in April. My wife Ali and I will be celebrating 20 years together that month and have a date night planned as we see our 9th Pearl Jam show together! That song has been a part of our romance dating back to when I studied in Australia 20 years ago (April 2000) and fell in love. We spent a lot of time apart those first few years and this song always bridged that cross Pacific distance between us when we’d listen to it (at the time all we had was the original Hunters & Collectors version, unaware Ed covered it in the late 90s at least once?). 

I realize I’m playing astronomical odds here, but nothing ventured nothing gained. Please play this one for my Aussie girl on date night!

    Great post. As an April anniversary and pearl jam date-nighter myself, I can appreciate the sentiment. There is a thread demanding Breath as the opener for St Louis . . . feel free to bump it up. Throw Your Arms would make a great encore add to the setlist of this potentially most epic show of the tour. :)

    Got that at the Indy show in 2000, the first show my wife and I attended together (we were dating at the time). It was fantastic. Hope you/we get it in St. Louis.

    Finally heard it at Mexico City in 2015.  I was alone.  In the sticker line inside the venue.  Was a wake up call.

    I was hoping to hear it at Ed’s solo shows in Germany. Apparently it was on the setlist in Düsseldorf but he scrapped it and didn’t come back after Seasons. Totally understandable and that show was perfect as it was. Still hoping to hear it this summer though.

    Thanks!! Hey, I'm 42 and grew up watching the Hawk's destroy the Blues year after year. Eddie Belfour vs. Curtis "Cujo" Joseph?! I miss those days. The Hawks have always been a solid club. No hate here. I don't waste energies hating on other sports teams any more.
