With no Austin show on the first North American leg, playing a Roky Erickson song in the Bay Area is the next logical thing. What would be cool one for Pearl Jam to cover? The obvious, “You’re Gonna Miss Me”?

    Can you imagine Ed trying to remember the stream of LSD consciousness that is Slip Inside this House?

    I saw Roky open up for the Black Angels at First Avenue in Minneapolis in 2014 and he performed Slip Inside this House.  It wasn't perfect but it was mostly all there.  Never in a million years did I expect to hear him perform that song.

    A few friends and I came down for this show from Winnipeg, also came to watch the Super Bowl which was the same weekend. 

    We were lucky enough to see the Elevators reunite in Austin in 2015 as well.
