Borgata tickets in Atlantic City, I still leer at that building every time I see it. From what I understand of the people who did go, it was a lot of corporate non fan big wigs. And I believe that PJ realized the ticket fiasco that it turned into and that's why at the last minute they decided to do a Philly show BEFORE the Borgata shows. And that Philly show was one of the best PJ shows I've ever been to. I was up in suite, a long way away from the stage but the show and the set list were fantastic. Nice memory, thanks for bringing it back to the surface.
Hmmm... the Borgata show I went to was jammed with real fans. Ed even commented that he expected the show to be packed with casino high rollers and was really happy to see a bunch of real fans out there.
I can only tell you what I heard from the 4 people I know that were there for both shows.
Don't take my word for it... or your friends. Hear it from Ed directly
You think MSG was hard wait till you try to get into the show on the 26th. There will be plenty of MSG GA trades for that show and no one is even going to consider the offers.
Is this an Apollo confirmation?
Sirius show. But where? Apollo?

I went solo to the Showbox 2002 in Seattle and the 2nd night I was almost shut out and I was at the end of the line with all of the scalpers asking for 500 bucks a ticket and my new friend Manuel from Chile came running up to me and said do you have $35? he got me in at the last 2nd for face
Benaroya hall....hands down. I remember standing in line at tower records (RIP). tickets went on sale, i took about two breaths and the kiosk person announced they sold out.
I went to ebay and found a single ticket for $250. I remember being too ashamed to admit to anyone how much i just spent to go to a rock show.
I spent $300. Never be ashamed.

Now, knowing what we know now, I’d pay $250 without a blink to get into that show. Probably one of the greatest nights in the band’s history, in my opinion.

The Philly show was after the Borgsya shows. I was at Borgata 2 and Philly, Both great, but that Philly show had an incredible set list. Opening with Wash. I remember HTI and Sad were both played.
Easier now?!?! People have been stressing about tickets for over a week!
With F5, you were pretty much guaranteed tickets if you refreshed for an hour. Those were the good old days.
Guaranteed....I think not.
That being said...the Vic show was the hardest I tried for and never got. Struck out on 10C sale and couldn’t afford tix on 2nd market. I lived in Chicago at the time too. Snuck into Lollapalooza to see them later that week though.
I said "pretty much guaranteed", granted you had to work for it. Myself and many other people were 100% during the F5 years. I was seeing a lot of shows in that timeframe, lots of highly sought after shows. That can't be just a coincidence.
The last spectrum Philly show in 09 was a hard one to get tickets for. A friend of mine ended up with tickets last minute and we got in. There was a bunch of rumors going around I remember that Bruce Springsteen was going to show up. That was a great show though. World Series was happening across the street, Halloween night, Bugs for the first time, the Devo cover, PJ played for almost 4 hours. Good times.

I did not get tickets to Vic on the onsale but was able to score an extra from a wonderful soul on this board. He posted his extra and told anyone interested to PM him with a reason it should be yours and your favorite PJ song. Took all the responses he liked and picked the winner out of hat. He truly was my miracle.
Borgata- I scored one night in onsale and got the other night from a broker. I opened up an American express CC to buy them and got like $200 off. Think it ended up costing me $250.
can you feel this world with your heart and not your brain?

Will we ever see Ed without a beard again?
No... just night 1. My wife was 8+ months pregnant at the time - wasn't going to push my luck
