"In Hiding" and "Rearview Mirror"

I am sure that this has happened to you all too, but I just felt like sharing.

Sometimes you listen to PJ songs forever and then one day it has a totally new meaning to you. I remember being 15 y/o listening to RVM and not really getting it. I was 18 and rocking IN HIDING on my way to school my senior year and not thinking much about it.

But now I am 24 and just out of a really strange relationship where I thought I was at fault for the break up. It really f'ed me up big time. I totally went AWOL from my friends and was diagnosed with depression.

ANYWAY I have recently been listening to both of these songs and they give me a hope that I had been sorely lacking.

Thanks PJ.

And thanks to anyone who is reading this for 'listening'......

  • Yeah, as time goes on your views change, experiences in your life mold your being and things take on different meanings, even songs.

    It's evolution baby!

  • Man that song has been on repeat alot lately as well....

it truly is amazing how there are PJ songs that really capture all moods and thoughts that go on in our life.... PJ is actually writing about real life, not some dumb radio bubble gum crap 'fuckin' like we're animals' bullshit....
