DID I SCREW THIS VERIFIED FAN THING UP???

I already have two pending 10C tickets for San Diego (and two for each LA show).

I just bought one more San Diego VF ticket for a friend.  But I sent myself the mobile link and it won't let me take a screenshot (new technology!!!) and now won't let me transfer it now.  I know nothing about this transfer stuff, so I hope I didn't screw myself.

But I'm worried about what will happen with my other two 10C San Diego tickets now.  I sent an e-mail to the 10C (TM chat is closed).  I hope all three tickets still appear on my phone's TM account, and then worst case scenario, we just have to walk in together, and I may have to walk him to his seat too and he won't be able to get up.

Argh...anyone else with a predicament like this or experience?

I think what I bolded by the sounds of it is your best option and you should be fine.
  • While not 100% sure....if my past experience speaks to the PJ shows....they will issue you a little print out for your seat position.  I have been to shows where this gets done upon checking into the venue...hand it to your buddy and be on your merry way....it'll all work out....

Yeah, but that will also suck a bit as I won't be able to rush the pit (if I score GA) and he'll be stuck in his seat all night.

Hey man, you don't need to make a bunch of threads.....you'll be fine. Just contact Ticketmaster if you think you goofed.

They did not issue printouts in 2018. Only tickets we had were on our phones.

They gave wristbands based on section (GA, Floor, nosebleeds). They didn't really check tickets, as long as you had the correct band you were good.
It would be impossible to have non-transferable tickets and no way to find your seats.  I'm not going to escort my ticket buddy to the bathroom so she can return just because I have the tickets, even if she is my wife.

Sorry to clutter the main page for you Bro, but figured the first thread would die a fast death.

What I don't understand is that if tickets were "non-transferable" for all but two shows (mine is SD), why would it give me the option to send it to anyone else?  Because I think it did give me the option to send the link to my buddy...but I sent it to myself and since I HOPEFULLY will have two more 10C tickets hitting my TM account next week, looks like if TM can't help me, I may have inconvenienced us a bit as all tickets will only be viewable on my phone (and with a moving bar code you can't screenshot them).

Anybody else have this dilemma but me?  :anguished:

Not in Seattle or at Fenway. There may have been wristbands for GA in Seattle but otherwise your ticket was on your phone.

If they don’t do printouts I’ll just send a screenshot to anyone that is with me, the barcode won’t matter once you’re through the doors so they will have that to find the seat of if an usher asks

I'm in the same boat.  I missed out on 10 club tickets as well as the VF sale.  A co-worker got both so I ended up getting a single VF for Quebec through him.  Trying to figure out how that will work...especially where he has GA tickets and last time in Quebec there was a separate line for that.

Directly from the rules each & every one of us were sent - it never let you transfer except NY & CO  It's also the reason why, right now if you look on Stubhub, you're only seeing listings for NYC & Denver.

To give fans the best chance to buy tickets at face value for this tour, Pearl Jam has decided that tickets will be mobile only and strictly non-transferableexcept in NY and CO where transferability is required by state law.

It's been clear from day one that you can't transfer tickets to anyone.

All tickets that you purchased via your account (either 10C seats of VF) will be accessible only through your mobile Ticketmaster account.

You have two options for getting your friend in:

    1) Enter the venue with him and scan him through on your phone;
    2) Give him your Ticketmaster account info. Let him login on his own phone to access his ticket and get into the arena.

Either way, shouldn't be a problem when once he's actually in the arena. Just send him a screenshot of any page with his section/seat number and he'll be fine.

Yes, I know...but it looked like it was going to let me at least select the 'Transfer Ticket' option...but maybe it would have given me an error message, hence it is what it is.  So basically, if I get GA, I will have to have my other buddy 'hold the line' for me as I walk all the way to the back top of the venue to walk my 2nd friend in who will be using my VF ticket...and he won't be able to leave his seat if they are checking 'live' (they are refreshed constantly) barcodes all night.  Unless like someone mentioned below, I give him my TM info to pull up the ticket...but will it allow two of us to be logged into two different devices at the same time is my next question.

Anyways...I can't be alone in that I'm going to one show with a buddy via my 10C tix and I have a 2nd friend who I bought a VF ticket for...so if that is anyone else's scenario...did you also send the link to your phone to view the NON-SCREENSHOTABLE tickets, or did anyone at least hit the TRANSFER button, and if so, did it just not let you complete it?

I mean...was this a major oversight on PJ/TM's part in the event this would happen?  I don't want my buddy to not be able to leave the seat all night, and no way in hell I'm coming up from the pit to escort him back from the bathroom if he has to go.

There are zero bugs.  You never had the option to transfer anything.  As a fellow poster mentioned you'll either need your friend to walk in with you or you give him your log-in information and have them pull the tickets from your log-in.  Rather simple, actually.

Yes, no problem walking him in the arena (unless he's late and I'm freaking out about a GA spot), but you cannot screenshot these.  So I'll have to walk him to his seat before I make my way for the pit (if I score them).  And he won't be able to leave his seat the whole show unless the usher is nice and won't ask for his 'live' barcode...but yes, I will probably give him my TM account info and see if that works too...but not sure if we can both be logged into it from two different devices at the same time.
