    Can't tell if this is serious or not, but THANK GOD the band parted with BOB.... DotC is a breath of fresh air!

    I can't stop listening to Dance. It's really damn great. I think I've only listened to Can't Deny Me 3 times. I really didn't enjoy the bedroom recording sound of that one. It needed to sound bigger.

    DOTC is new and exciting.  Experimental.  Pushing boundaries.  My favorite PJ song? Not by a long shot, but it signals a willingness to grow and try new stuff.  
    Can't Deny Me is a song I never, ever listen to.  Ever.

    I don’t like CDM, too generic.  There’s nothing that stands out.

    DOTC is interesting and it’s growing on me the more I listen to it.  Want to here it live and see how they do it.

    CDM is sooooooooo much better live than the single.
    Hopefully DotC gets a video/stage treatment when played live.

    As singles, though, DotC wins.

    Maybe over time. I remember that I had to listen to Lightning Bolt (album) a few times before I grew to like some of the songs.

    I agree. The short and punchy rockers like Can't Deny Me are fun, but it's not materially different than past songs. New is good!

    They still struggle with transitions into choruses in my opinion. DofC is a little awkward at the 1 min mark. Reminds me of Army Reserve where they sort of just stumble into the chorus. 
    The less you know, the more you believe.

    I hated Can't Deny Me to start with.  Then I saw it live, and only mostly hate it now.  I love the new one.

    I think Dance of the Clairvoyants is a better song.

    But I think Cant Deny Me will be the one easiest to put on in a few years.

    DOTC for me.  Fresh, new, different.  Maybe lyrically it's more vague and open to interpretation, which is what I kind of like about PJ/Ed rather than being straightforward.  DOTC just intrigues me and makes me want to re-listen and form my own interpretation.  Never seen CDM live though so maybe I can be convinced otherwise.
