Opening band for spring?  Anyone?

    hopefully that doesnt reduce Pearl Jam's epic three hour sets.  I would rather pay more money to just see PJ and not have an opening band but thats just me

    I have seen them play 3 hours+ with an opener multiple times. 
    I have seen them play less than 3 hours with no opener multiple times. 
    One has nothing to do with the other, fortunately. 
    3 cheers for bringing out an opener.

    This. Stil hope they push 2h45m to 3h regularly.  Gonna checkbout Pluralone later though. Seems like it's their first album. Will probably be a 30minute opening act tops. The entire album is 40m.

    Hope it leads to a couple Ed pre sets to get us in the door earlier....that leads to earlier PJ set and longer set👍

    Well, they either start earlier than normal or we lose 10 PJ songs a show... Not sure how I feel about this..(trying not to sound like a a spoiled brat)

    My guess is that instead of waiting for PJ to come on at 830 we will have an opener from 730-815 then PJ at 830

    Exactly. Nothing should change from what they have done in the past with an opener. Too many new kids on this block.

    Better have an opener than stare at an empty stage for 2 hours, or even more.

    If it’s a interesting opener, (which I find this to be) I’m all in.  Got my fill of Mudhoney though

    This is pretty cool for Josh. 
    He was in a band for ten yrs and then it ended.  Cool to see them supporting another Chili Pepper

    Was at Ft Lauderdale (1st show of tour) 2016. Waited forever for PJ to come on. But they played 30 minutes with the lights on at the end. I’d have enjoyed an opening act that night, but was thrilled that they didn’t bail at curfew. The band won’t disappoint.

    He played on 5/10 tracks on the album. Josh klinghoffer played drums on 4 and eric gardner on 1.  Would be cool if jack was in the touring lineup.
