This is a really good song musically and lyrically, but the lyrics are just so cool. I think everyone at some stage in their life, or regularly in their lives, just want to walk away from everything for a time and just think about what they're doing. It reminds me a lot of Robert Frost's poem Birches - the whole concept of it.

    with the canadian tour coming up , this is the song i WANT to see, i love it on the IN THE GARDEN dvd,
    ive seen em 6 times but havent seen it yet, 3 times on the canadian tour and i hope i get it....

    I agree with everybody here. I love this song, probably one that gets the most play right now.. I prefer the faster versions, it's so rhythmic, it really feels tribal. But at the same time, the lyrics are so well thought out, I think it proves how well the band works together, and how smart they all are. My favorite version is from Melbourne 98.

    This song is one of the pinnacles of Ed's songwriting, not only in terms of his words, but in the way he delivers them with such intensity, and with such connection with what is going on around him.
