Having never made the drive to Baltimore before we’re heading straight down from Toronto and I’m curious is if there’s any construction scheduled or in progress driving from the North straight down South? Plenty of fuel options along the exits? Traffic? Speed traps? 😉

I can guarantee you there will be construction several places in Pennsylvania. Their roads have been under construction since we were kids. All of them.
186xxx and in Sec 3 Row G, towards the middle section. Anyone know approx how many rows are taken by GA?
I’m sec 3 Row A and was thinking the same. I was in the wings in 2013 and looking out at GA I would say it was at least 20 rows. And for you GA ppl, In 2013 GA wasn’t packed at all. Would say it was half or 2/3rds full. Plenty of room in the middle and back.

Unfortunately, this is true. Never know what you are going to encounter driving through the state.

Those who know this arena, are the last few rows of 200s ok with the overhang and support posts? I see that the ceiling has bright lights shining on fans in pics. (To the regular commenters, sorry about asking this again).
My section is similar to this one. Rear rows above an entranceway. The support post looks to be clearly blocking many rows in the back. The stage is to the left of this pic. After dealing with a non notification club seat obstruction at Fenway and very possibly getting another now, maybe it’s just time to respectfully say goodbye to the club and this band. This is not a decent way to conduct business and treat a customer, no matter how popular you are.
Waters is playing msg, he is a legend and he lists his tickets for a fair price and you know what you are buying at time of purchase.
Now I'm worried, 216 Row N seat 1and 2. Those clearly look like they will be obstructed.
If you look at some of the Ticketmaster shows in the arena, it appears that *maybe* (can't tell for sure), they don't sell the back row and the ends of the high rows in some sections. Look at the image below. It appears to me that the rows go to P, but that they're not selling all seats in P and in some sections (like 216 which is the center section in this image), where you are, they aren't selling the back row. I'm assuming, in the image, you seats would be right where the row gets wider, playing you just in front of the pillar. Obviously, I don't know where everyone's seats are or if they're doing something for PJ (i.e., selling the obstructed seats), but I see at least some hope they've taken these things into account.
I actually called the box office and was assured that the pillars are not obstructing views. Row N is the last row in Section 216 and probably all of the 200 level sections.

The last row alternates between N and O depending on the section
I agree the pillars will not block but in another topic this pic shows row O in section 212 (from a viewfrommyseat .com) and if this guy stands that overhang is awfully close to replacing the stage

I am in! Scored GA!!! It's a true PJ miracle. I am now on a mission to figure out where we will be staying. We are driving in from Pittsburgh, and we have never been to Baltimore. If you have any recommendations, throw them my way. Can't freaking wait!!!

Walked into Starbucks this morning and Baltimore by Nina Simone was playing. I took it as a good sign.

Use Waze or Google Maps (but Waze will likely have more up to the minute data even though Google owns both). Assuming you are going to head down 90 west through NY to probably 81 south down through PA. The New York State Thruway, The NJ Turnpike have plenty of rest stops on the road, the secondary highways will have plenty of exits for gas/food.
Any resident beer nerds that can steer me in the right direction? Have been told to check out Max's in Fells Point, and that the new "it" brewery is Wet City. Any other places I need to check out before the show?

I'm looking forward to Max's, as well. Pretty sure Diamondback Brewing Company should be high on the list. I'll have to look into Wet City.
Cheers!

Same here...first road trip from Toronto to Baltimore.
If anyone would rather get some (relatively, I live in Annapolis) local advice on bars / food / other stuff to do, happy to help. My wife scored a ticket but I'm looking for one, and as a result, happy to meet up before hand and help with everything from fancy to foodie to functional to fast, from cocktails to beers, all within a (somewhat short) walk to the venue, lots of great places. Get in touch if you want some help. P.S. Max's is great. And lots right around there as well.
