BALTIMORE Roll Call

  • Charm city, here we go!  The 2013 concert was great, it had a fantastic setlist and lots of energy, with Pendulum and Hard to imagine as openers.   Who else was there that night?  Let’s just hope Eddie remembers to introduce Jeff this time.

Such an amazing night; a bit horrified when Ed forgot Jeff...  Anyway, my 21 year old son is a PJ concert virgin, although he has been playing PJ songs on his guitar for years; he and I are really hoping to go - no luck on either presale, even with a member number in the 300,000's, but I guess seniority doesn't matter now? Anyway, will try at public presale tomorrow, but please keep me in mind if you have two extra to Baltimore!  Thanks.

Gonna try to score a single or a pair tomorrow. I won for MSG but not sure if I got GA or not. If I got a GA I might try to trade it for a Balt GA but then I think I’d be stuck with any possible tickets I get tomorrow. Oh well I’m sure I’d find a way to get it to someone if need be.
Kotton, If you have any extras, I'd be happy to take em! TIA

Seniority only matters in seat selection, not whether or not you get tickets. Pretty sure it's always been this way.
  • Thanks for clarification; bummed that I got shut out, regardless.

Understood. Didn't mean to kick you when you were down. Hope you find some tickets.

Will the entire floor be GA in Baltimore ?
The seating chart that I saw for the venue showed GA as the entire floor section.

I'm coming in from NYC - where is the preparty? Any good hotel suggestions near the venue. My parents live in the DC area, so that is a good backup, but I would rather stay closer to the action that night.

Great. I've seen a few shows there. MUCH better than capital one arena in DC.

I grabbed a hotel right after the tour announcement dropped at RL Inner Harbor...listed less than half a mile from the venue. Rates were reasonable at the time, not sure how much they have changed since.

  • Home town show! I Was there in 2013 with my son, in the pit, Great show!  My son was in the school of rock at the time & after the show was part of a meet & greet with SOR & went back stage.  Meanwhile, parents weren't allowed, had to wait outside.  He met Mike & they all had a cool experience. Of course I was freaking out, but excited for him.  Seven years later my son Chris is a professional musician, Broadway musical touring drummer.
This time around I got shut out of the lottery & on sales.  Been a fan club member for over 20 years(161xxx).  Desperately seeking a ticket to the show.  If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Really want to see my home town show!

1st time seeing a show in BAL. Where can we stay, walk to the show, and not have to gamble with our lives on the way there and back? My apologies if I disparage anyone’s hometown, just heard stories. I’m from Detroit so I know a thing or two about people’s perceptions about certain cities.

I don't think the Inner Harbor area is a place you need to worry much.
  • Parts of Inner Harbor can be sketchy.  Better area is Harbor East, just east of the inner harbor.  I own a restaurant there & its safe.  But Uber or Lyft to show.

Good to know. Are we talking "there's a 50/50 shot you'll get mugged" sketchy? Or "people who've never been to a city and get scared every time they see a black person" sketchy?
  • Just do not walk alone, & when you do walk, stay on the main roads.  Ive lived here my whole life, & I keep my head on a swivel walking around the city.  I didn't mention this to scare any one, just to be mindful of your surroundings.  Baltimore has gotten worse in the last decade, more so than other cities.
