Seniority matters 0% when it comes to being selected for tickets.
Looking at NY, it looks like when they got to the 500,000 numbers, they grouped them into a few sections, but assigned seniority by lower rows and not necessarily the closer section.

yes, I know. It use to matter. Seattle 2018 I was in the front row both nights but in the middle sections were all these people that were on their phones all night dresses in suits, dresses and high heels not even listening to the music. Many of those left during the show. Priorities go them.
