Oakland Peeps, need advice

My wife and I put in for Oakland. We are staying at the Oakland Hilton Airport, which is fairly close to the Arena. I am wondering if we should rent a car or take the shuttle to/from the airport and Uber to/from the show. There won’t be time for much else- we get in at midnight the night before the show and fly home at 6am the day after. Does anyone have experience and know if Uber is convenient after the show is over?

    The arena is next airport.  There is actually a shuttle from Oakland Arena Bart stop to airport. Is hotel near airport?  Not sure how easy to get to that shuttle stop.  Just get a cab or uber, you are super close. 
    Only advice is do not walk.  Actually during day, walk, not an issue.

    No need for a car. It's like a mile away. Not sure how convenient Uber is after a show, but you'll get one or a cab.

    Great! Thanks to both of you. It looks like walking wouldn’t be an option because of where it is located by the airport and freeway, so I will Uber or take a cab. It’s $20 a night to park plus rental car fees and parking at the arena, so I’ll save probably $100. Almost enough for another show...

    I'm pretty sure parking for events at Oakland arena is $40. Brutal. Definitely go with Uber / Lyft.

    Any Hotel that's within walking distance?
