LIMITED ONE-TIME PRINTING - OUR BIGGEST AND BEST ISSUE YET!
FULL COLOR / 72 HIGH QUALITY PAGES
We sit down with Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament to discuss his tremendous effort to bring skateparks to small towns in Montana, trace the roots of his empathy, and learn everything we can about his Montana Pool Service non-profit.
Meet Louie Gong who is one of the most interesting and successful young entrepreneurs today. He’s disrupting negative business practices that have traditionally worked against his community, while bringing hundreds of artists and creators along for the ride.
Musician, innovator, and artist Tim Kerr has been a powerful creative force for decades, but he’s making a new noise by amplifying the voices of lesser-known cultural figures through his colorful paintings. Find out his secret to living a creative life, which may just be his life-long friendship with his amazing partner Beth.
When photographer Jennifer Loomis wanted to adopt a child, she was horrified by the photos that the agencies were using to present the kids to interested parents. What did she do? Start a non-profit called Adopt-A-Child Photography of course. Oh…and she adopted a child.
Our new advice columnist Allison Stieger answers your questions by applying lessons learned from ancient mythology to modern-day life problems.
Looking to downsize your life? Maybe a move to Bellingham, Washington is what you need. Or is it? Writer Jeff Braimes and photographer Phil Rose lift the hood on a Western Washington town that, like a lot of great places, is feeling the strain of escalating growth.
All the art, music, columns, and vibe checks that you have come to expect from PMA!

Join
us for an interview with Jeff Ament as we explore the roots of his
empathy, his experience growing up in a small Montana town, and his
tremendous effort to build a network of skateparks across his home
state.
This episode is special for a few important reasons. The
first is that unlike all the previous episodes, we actually recorded
this one properly in a studio, so this is a little glimpse into what the
next season will sound like. It’s also remarkable because had our guest
this week not done so much important work building skateparks, this
magazine and podcast may never have been created. We hope you enjoy it.
