Will the US fall leg be influenced by the election?

Not saying it has to be branded "Vote for change" and teaming up with Bruce and REM. But do you think it will "just" be another leg or that it will have a different vibe, setup, choice of places to play etc?

Having it be 2003/2004 politically charged might make want to head over and watch a show and maybe visit New Orleans, Nashville, Seattle or some other nifty city.

A roadshow festival with Bruce, Guns N Roses, Nine Inch Nails etc would obviously be the bees knees.

There is often political banter at their shows, but I think the fall focus will be on the album more than the election.

Could hit Ohio/Wisconsin/Penn/Michigan-swing states and continue west to ID/WA/OR, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Anchorage.  That would be 12-14 shows in about a month.
