Where to stay in St Louis

Anybody book a hotel in St Louis yet?

We're coming from Chicagoland and plan on staying 1 night. Hopefully close by the venue. Just looking for suggestions.

I remember in Lexington a few years back, everybody brought a 6 pack of beer from their home town and we all gathered in the lobby and "tailgated" before the show. Might be cool if a bunch of people are staying in one spot.

Their French fries are great. Their brisket tacos are out of this world! Their brews are divine! The wait to get in there on a Saturday is awful!

Picked up a spot at the Westin but may reconsider since the Cards are playing that day - saw someone else posting Drury Inn Union Station (maybe a promo code "Smile" for a group rate?)
