Gigaton - intentional double meaning?

While making a crappy joke on another thread (https://community.pearljam.com/discussion/283054/gigaton-definition), I realized that Giga = TEN to the power of 9 and Ton is a colloquial term for 100. That makes Gigaton TEN to the power of 11, and is Pearl Jam's 11th album starting from Ten.

I'm probably reading too much into it, but what do people think?

I think it has more than a double meaning. As I commented on other board, I believe it also is a reference to describing the pain the band has experienced in the time between albums
  • That's an interesting thought as well.

It might just be one of those things where even if it wasn't intended, people care so much that they can make these connections.
