The main pearl jam page gave 11 locations.  Those locations had billboards.  People can use an app (instagram or facebook) with a lens (provided in the link) where they can find the billboard and see an animation.  Its like Pokemon Go, but you dont have to capture anything.
If you didnt want to, or couldnt do that....we have new info.

The album name is Gigaton.  The cover art for the album is below.  (Gigaton COULD reference a single, and the artwork could be for a single, but most believe its the album)
Here is an example of the animation.
https://www.instagram.com/stories/pearljam/
You can use an image of the cover art, without being at the location to hack it with instagram or facebook lens link in the email.

Guessing each post may unlock a sample of the new album's tracks - 11 in total, locations aren't all tied to rumored tour dates

I think that San Diego one is actually LA.

It is...Venice Beach. I lived on the corner of Venice and Lincoln until a few years ago! Why didnt they do this then?
  • This is how I'm gonna send in my payment for the ten club next year. One dollar at each place marked on a map.

Toronto's is the Mod Club which is a smallish concert venue that seats about 500 people (I'd guess).

My guess is either track titles, that eventually get unlocked into song snippets.   Once they are unlocked by ONE person, then everyone can see or hear them.  Something like that.   Someone post something here when they are able to get this done.

I'm passing by the Mod Club on my way home from work. This seems like something I should be investigating.

Upon closer inspection it's *near* the Mod Club but not actually at it.

Actually...I think the Toronto location's a construction site. There was a convenience store there till fairly recently; I pass it on my way to and from work.
